“GARE DU NORD is an international effort that finally puts a voice to a handful of songs written by River several years back, inspired by the spirit and sound of iconic French bands of the 80’s such as Warrior Kids, Swingo Porkies and the legendary Camera Silens. During the 2024 joint tour of Belgium’s INSTRUCTOR and Denver’s DIRECT THREAT the opportunity to re-approach the music with French vocals came naturally with the addition of vocalist and lyricist Dario.

Through these four tracks GARE DU NORD touches on themes of nerves, anxiety, self doubt, and the race to rise above them. Stories of losing yourself in the city and confronting a grim reality. GARE DU NORD presents this debut release as an introduction with the promise of more music and live performances in the future.”
