Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about shopping at Sorry State Records.
How do you ensure vinyl records aren't damaged during shipping?
We use high-quality, heavy-duty cardboard mailers specifically designed for vinyl. For extra protection, we can ship records outside of their jackets upon request to prevent seam splits during transit.
What is your return policy for defective items?
If you receive a record with a manufacturing defect or significant damage, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We offer replacements for the same title or a full refund if the item is out of stock.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to most countries worldwide. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your location.
Can I add items to an existing order that hasn't shipped yet?
As long as your order hasn't been processed for shipping, we can usually combine orders. Please email us as soon as possible with your order numbers to request a consolidation.
How do you grade the condition of your used records?
We use the industry-standard Goldmine Grading System. Each used record is carefully inspected visually, and often play-tested, to ensure the grade accurately reflects its condition.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay for a secure and fast checkout experience.
