Freewill was a hardcore band from the late-ā80s in Southern California. The band featured a young Mike Hartsfield (Outspoken, Strife, Done Dying) on bass. Freewill made a name for themselves in the Los Angeles and Orange County hardcore scenes, sharing the stage with such bands as Uniform Choice, Insted, No For An Answer and countless others. This 7ā features their very first recording, a seven-song demo from 1988 that was responsible for the band getting signed to Wishingwell Records (Youth Of Today, Uniform Choice, Insted), before that label unfortunately went under prior to the release of the Freewill "Sun Return" LP.
