Second release from GATTOPARDO following their debut 12" builds on their influences of UK-DIY/Rough Trade staples and the '80s post-punk classics of their countrymates, GATTOPARDO puts their own distinctly modern Brazilian stamp on a classic sound without sounding obvious or awkward. That can most likely be attributed to talent, first and foremost, but also aided by the use of less common instruments like the shennai, guizos, derbake, and cello, with the B-side-long track, "As bruxas" inspired by Baden Powell and Vinicius De Moraes bossa standard, "Canto de Ossanha."
